"The time to relax is when you don't have time for it." ~Attributed to both Jim Goodwin and Sydney J. Harris

Lately, I feel like I am slipping beneath the waves. Every day it gets harder and harder to tread water and I am afraid I am going to drown. I keep trying to swim and just when I feel I have made it ashore, I get dragged right back out to sea. I am trying to stay caught up on my school work and have a social life along with a girl friend but when I give attention to one, the others fall behind. Money is tight and I don't even have time to find a job. I stay up late every night to get caught up on homework an I am so tired I almost miss my first class. It would be easier if I had a computer to assist with my work, but my parents are already in debt getting me here so they can't afford a computer right now. One of the things that helps relieve stress is talking to my girlfriend, but lately she is so busy with her school work that talking has become back seat. I try to hang with my friends but you need money to do most things. It is a devastating circle that I can't escape. Then I found the quote above and it made so much sense to me. It has helped me from breaking down but I am still being dragged under. Is their anyone else who is drowning?
