ESSAY

Music. It’s my life. It will always be here. To me, Music isn’t just an activity, its part of my everyday life. Without it, I wouldn’t be the same person. The world wouldn’t be the same; soundless, quiet, dead. What is music to you? Do you see it as just a sound to your ear? Or is it something that means a lot to you? Maybe you don't even realize how much it could mean to you, or could influence your life.

Depending on the mood music can enhance everything you do. I don’t just listen to one kind of music, either. Rap, Rock, Country, Reggae, Hip-Hop, you name it. Pretty much anything that isn’t Gospel or Christian. Some people play Rock only when their mad, or slow rock when their sad, but me, no! I listen to everything and anything whatever mood I’m in. Sometimes I even listen to Rap when I’m mad because it puts me in a better mood. Reggae puts me into a more relaxed state of mind. I love it, I love it all. Music keeps me going when I’m down. Maybe you're the type of person that just likes it quiet when you're upset. Try doing something different. Listen to the most relaxing type of music that you like. Or you can also try listening to something new. Maybe you didn't like a certain type of music when you were younger, and think you still don't. I hated rap when I was younger but now I love it. You can change.

Music reflects my life in so many ways. The money I spend on concerts and clothing is all based from the music I listen to. I don’t know if anyone else can relate to this but it is a whole different feeling when you sing to the music rather than just listen to it. It’s like you are there. You can FEEL the music. Don’t even get me started on loudness. I LOVE listening to music as loud as I can get it. I have started a system in my car and I can’t wait till I can get it FUCKIN JAMMIN. For those of you who know speakers, so far I have four 10 inch Eminence mids, 4 selenium 350ST super tweeters, and two 6 inch eminence mids inside my car. Outside of my car I have two selenium horns, (they echo off everything haha). And just two 12 inch kicker cvr’s for bass. (One is blown right now.) I plan on having door panels made and making it way louder. If anyone wants to know, www.partsexpress.com sells car stereo stuff really cheap.

I can go from Lil Wayne to Lamb of God to Incubus to George Strait in a matter of Shuffle on my ipod. I even shared my itunes so anyone can access my library at anytime. I don’t really know what else to write about my love for music. It controls me. I spend an excessive amount of time downloading songs, mixtapes, torrents, and burning cds. (Ahh arrest me), and I love every minute of it. People ask me to make them cds all the time because they know how much music I have. I have an idea of the people I listen to: (taking this from my myspace, written a long time ago)
