WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME :) :P :D

What is your thesis?

While focusing on sustainability, I now know the importance of protecting yet sharing information, the idea of green computing and community literacy, the power of pictures, democracy of the earth, the many keys of writing, and vital facts of life I should have been taught four years ago

How did this particular argument come about?

YO NO SE. i was struggling to find a way to start my paper. i wanted it to be about college and this class. and i wanted it to be true and personal. I HATE MY THESIS. i think it sucks but i am at a loss for words and expression

Who's your audience and what, techniques do you use to make your writing speak to their concerns and interests?

my audience is the rest of the class of 1101, college students, students who will be taking Composition I, and student who will be going to college. i used the tecgnique of writing to share. im writing to share my experience so far in hopes to inspire others to take this class and enjoy it and enjoy college as much as i have, also to learn as much as i have from this class.

Upon reviewing your completed composition (and process), what aspect of your work (or it's process) most surprised you?

i was surprised at how much i learned! im pretty sure i got that message across. but seriously, my ability to organize and store information into to little boxes in my head has really improved! its rad :)

Did you learn anything new while growing your composition? Explain.

yea i did. coming into college i thought i knew exactly what i wanted to be, but i have been straying from that dream more and more lately and it has alot to do with what i've learned in this class. I was not quite ready to admit that, but i am definitely not ready to admit what i am straying towards..

When you use secondary sources, do those sources contribute to ethos, logos, or pathos appeals?

When considering peer feedback as you revised your rough draft, which advice/suggestion/question/criticism/edit was most useful/helpful?

all of it really, it was encouraging and helpful, supporting and nice to hear.

i have never not liked or not used any feedback i've recieved. it amazes me what others find in my work when i cannot find it after 20 proff reads

On your final version, where would you like to see the most feedback and attention from graders?

on my writing style. if people can understand it and really get it! sometimes i feel like nobody will like what i've written because they dont get it but i hate trying to write like an idiot just so others can feel smarter.

1. reflection piece: reflect on peer revisions/suggestions/feedback you received on your paper: 1 paragraph

I love love love getting feedback on my work; the good, the bad, and the ugly! theres nothing worse than being stuck with how to start, finish, or even write a thought that is vital to your efforts! But when you get an outsiders point of view, its unbiased and easier to see beyond what's in front of them. most of all i love positive feedback. the revisions/suggestions/feedback that i received was very positive and pretty much said "great job! keep it up!" very supporting! but not very helpful in writing a paper. it is comforting though to know that my peers like my work! i guess i have nothing really to worry about and should just "keep it up"

Marissa,

I'm putting my feedback here because I'm pretty badass, simple as that. This paper's hot. I have to say its hard to be funny on paper, but you definitely nailed it. Way to keep the reader interested! Really I'm kinda upset I can't find anything wrong... :( I love bashing papers but I just can't spot anything. The thesis is there, there's structure, definitely content, your personality, a dynamic closing yet heartfelt... Must say I'm pretty jealous.

2. final draft

3. all peer feedback work performed (perform at least 3 peer reviews)

peer edit for kim

kim i think you can make a really awesome paper, you should just think about how each assignment connects, the connection dont have to make sense just things that stand out to you. maybe about how driving every day from tampa to st pete affects you and your abilities to remain sustainable. like having to wake up early, you lose that time that others have to get things done. you could connect mcclouds comic book by all the icons you see in yout travels from home to work. i think the shiva book should be pretty easy to write about in your paper, because she talks about basically everything, economy, culture, blah blah blah

i think you should also write about how you're from sarasota and and how it differs from st pete on levels of sustainability

hope this helps :)

peer edit for mikaella

your paper is pretty much on its way, all you really have to do is write a few sentences to connect one assignment to another, like trey said, talk about sustainability and you could do for example green computing and then talk about your interview and then just find connections between the assignments

peer edit for sam

you'll probably have the most original essay, i dont think anybody else is doing something like this

from what i read you know what your talking about

you should find some connections to mcclouds book and how it connects to your exposure to comics and what you think as a comic lover

4. compose a graphical representation of your writing process. You can draw/paint/color and then scan, or you can use the graphic image manipulation program of your choosing
